RESEARCH PROFILE

Emerging feminist researcher focusing on the intersection of algorithmic governance, affective labour, and gendered subjectivity in East Asian digital visual cultures. Developing qualitative and practice-based approaches to examine how platform technologies reshape historical gender norms and everyday experiences of looking.

STATEMENT

I treat the image not as representation, but as an interface of discipline and negotiation. My works stage the rhythms of looking—where platform logics, gendered scripts, and affective economies attempt to stabilize the body—then interrupt that stabilization through montage, repetition, and interaction.
